I was the exception, I repeatedly requested the forum administrators many times, and they finally allowed me to join.

However, in my initial application, they clearly did not want me to join. I don't know why they don't want Chinese people to join this forum, maybe not just for China? But to be honest, I didn't see anything like "ban Chinese people" in the forum's rules.

While I had no trouble joining the forum while in China on a Chinese device, I did have some difficulty posting without a VPN. Which is weird, because I can view posts without any problems using their internet
