They bombed the ever living shit out of Germany. More people died in the regular bombing of Japan than in the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki themselves. The same would've happened in Germany. Have you seen what the Allies did to Dresden? I don't think that would be called valuing White lives. Especially when you consider the Allies also targeted neutral European nations like Switzerland as a "show of force" as to what would happen if they got too cozy to the Germans
