I have both only because my parents pay for Netflix and because Prime Video is very cheap for students and it was included in my Amazon membership. And it's much better tbh. You have much more variety of films, in Netflix good luck finding something previous to 1990, in Prime however you have a wide selection of old movies both classics and more obscure old films. They have more foreign films too which is always nice because most movies are from US and UK anyway so it's good to see some change kek. Recently Prime added almost all the filmography of Takeshi Kitano the based Japanese director of yakuza and samurai films, meanwhile Netflix adds shitty series and movies about trannies and BLM kek. It's been so long since I've opened Netflix app.

I hate watching online movies on illegal sites because they're either in super low quality or they make you disable adblock to bomb you with pop-ups, so fucking annoying kek. So what I usually do is torrent the films I don't find in Prime/Netflix and then delete them.

I would probably just torrent except for the fact that an Amazon Prime membership is included in my phone contract - just the bog standard video one and honestly its quite useful. You are right - most of the Amazon shows are fairly decent. Like The Grand Tour, The Boys, The Expanse and Bosch. There are classics like House M.D, Bones, Hannibal and the X-Files if you need some amusement when you're bored.

You know back in the mists of time us boomers (older millennials) would just get the shows we liked from torrent.
