Yeah my major is within STEM and I had hoped to join the anime club last year to find some nerdy black girl but it was a big autistic sausage fest. I picked up taking photos to try and have a less autistic hobby.

Lmao. If I were to advise a freshman thinking of going into STEM I'd tell them to consider a more general undergrad degree like math or chemistry, then do specialized engineering in graduate school. Usually the only place to find females in STEM is in degrees that lead to teaching, like the general science subjects. If your STEM field is computer or engineering based, you'll almost never see a woman.

For I long time I thought high school was going to be the worst period of my life as it was full of shallow posturing, jb's wanting to get fucked by the coolest guys, and daily bullying. But I held my hopes high as in college things would get better since it is a environment where people with similar interests meet and mature personalities develop. I could not be more wrong. While girls in high school were crushing mostly over top-tier men, there were still looksmatched couples everywhere, but now, there was none of this at my college. Even though it was a place dominated by women with a minority of men, I haven't seen a couple showing affection in years.
