It does not mean they are retarded. Some people have severe speech impediments like stuttering. Others come from very violent homes that has scarred their social interactions. Then there are the agoraphobes and germaphobes
TBH correlating verbal and text is not really honest lmao. I have no trouble writing paragraphs here, but actually talking in REAL TIME is hard as fuck. Mainly because :
a) I can't fix speech typos without anyone noticing (I make a lot of mistakes when talking verbally)
b) you can hide speech impairments when typing
c) you can step back, think for a moment and then start typing again. You can't do that in the middle of a convo.
