Because there is nothing that they're compensating against if everything were rounded out to happy notions that are presentable. Normies live in a presentational worldlook. If it's not presentable don't think about it.
Yet the irony is that insecure people are immersed in unpresentable bullshit. Hence why they're clamoring to be presentable. But you can't just look into the presentable ideal. You have to turn the dial of knowledge to everything to understand everything.
The fact they're acting against their own presentability tacitly means they know the negative truths exist, but they're afraid to scope in on it.

it does show they are aware of it, but it is on a subconscious level. they do not allow it to break into conscious awareness. it is true that their behaviors show an underlying understanding of the true rules of the game, however, I do not believe they are consciously aware of it as we are. that would require a break down of ego, which normies absolutely do not have the ability or stomach to go through. they are weak minded filth, cattle.

THIS ^. Normies will accept the blackpill only to the extent that it is comfortable for them. They will act in accordance with the blackpill (working out to get a better body, haircut, etc) but will never have the balls to consciously admit the blackpill in its entirety.
