Losing weight is so easy unless you have a major metabolic disorder. Gaining weight is what is brutally hard. Takes me ages to gain any weight and one sick day or slip up and it sets you back weeks of weight gain progress.
I can lose weight without even trying while gaining weight is a struggle

i lost 30lbs this past year 2024 just drinking a bunch of coffee and walking around. i went from almost 190 to 155
foodcoping just makes me feel bloated and miserable, i prefer drinking alcohol which is probably worse

it's a cycle where you are fat so you have very little motivation so you eat for pleasure, then you are too self conscious to do anything even get hobbies so you just eat more

extremely sedentary. sit down office job and ldar in bed or play video games at home
Maybe you’re right then and you just don’t burn much energy. I often times do manual labor tasks and that burns a lot of energy plus I have active hobbies
my steps on average are 500-1000 a day. i'm trying to get active more lately in Keto but before it was insanely minimal
