This is a scary thought. Think about it. Who were among the earliest explorers, willing to risk their lives. Surely, we hear of the brave men looking for glory, but less known are all of the unwanted men who filled the rank and file, pressed into service for lack of any other opportunity.
Is that why many of the aliens look so ugly compared to human aesthetics?
