Great fucking show by the way

my favourite character was niragi, hes literally the definition of an incel. Goes on a massive rape and murder spree cause of his past trauma and shit and almost rapemaxxes the female heroine

hes supposed to literally be the definition of an incel and his character arc was supposed to explain how incels and various misanthropes are made, everyone hated him in the manga (because he was ugly lmao) despite the fact that the whole point was that youre supposed to acquire an understanding and mercy for him

yet in the show, girls are fucking drooling over him cause hes cast by a hot guy and thus they enjoyed his attempted rape scenes

fucking foids and normies missing the entire point of the character, annoys me cause this is the one show ive liked so far that is mainstream

What’s the premise of the show?

What’s the premise of the show?
this incelNEET ricecel guy named arisu gets thrown into a world where in order to survive you have to play death games.

These games require you to either be high iq, have teamwork, have strength or betray others. Its a really nice show, a lot of normies liked it but to be honest, it has high iq messages as well and is good shit to watch to maybe learn something

What’s the premise of the show?
Arisu—a listless, jobless and video-game-obsessed young man—suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive. In the new world, Arisu meets Usagi, a young woman who's navigating the games alone.

The games are divided into four categories represented by suits on a deck of playing cards. For example, winning a game of hearts comes at a tremendous cost, and it might just break you entirely. The locked-room game, for instance, corresponds to the 3 of Clubs, so when they win, Arisu and his pals have three days' respite before they have to compete in another deadly game.

I've never even watched the show, but it could be fun. Who knows? Given that the ricecel behind it also created the recently aired Zom 100—a refreshing, bombastic, and unexpectedly meaningful twist on the overdone zombie apocalypse genre, and handily one of my most enjoyed shows from 2023—I believe this series could also be worth checking out.

Calling things “cringe” is cringe.

I didn't either until now, thanks to the power of Jewgle.

Definitely do. The first episode of Zom 100 is one hell of a tremendously ambitious showcase of inventive, fresh, and brilliant animation and direction, all packaged together with clear intent. So good, in fact, that I honestly don't think the show topped it after that. Sporadic delays, an incomplete opening theme, and drops in animation quality collectively diminish the overall impact of the work, and highlight a much larger issue plaguing the anime industry as a whole.

Yet, despite being infamously undermined by its controversial production issues, the production team still managed to deliver something remarkabe in a sea of seasonal slop, even amidst unfavorable working conditions. From a critical lens, the only other gripes I have with the show are that it could stand to be more comedically effective—Zom 100 can go overboard with the peepee poopoo humor—and its protagonist is lacking, but if you don't mind a little potty humor, you'll surely have an enjoyable ride, enabled by an up-and-coming star director and his recurring colleagues.

If you’re a fan of B horror and zombie movies in particular, you’re in for a treat; the unashamedly trashy tendencies you can see in spots for the first episode weren’t fooling you, as Zom 100 does indeed become a goofy romp where naked butts are used to tempt zombie sharks into deathly traps. At the same time, though, executing those outrageous ideas with the energy level Kazuki Kawagoe’s team exhibited in this first episode was always going to be hard. Or rather, it’s absolutely impossible.

Thanks, I’ll definitely have to check that out then. The last recommendation I got from this forum was an anime called “count of monte christo” and it was one of the worst animes I’ve ever watched. Just had good animation, but every episode someone’s wife was cucking her husband and it was brutal suicide fuel.
