Maybe, but it could also be that when everything that can get automated does so, new jobs will just be created around the new un-automatable bottlenecks, as has historically been the pattern. Especially so if the productivity skyrockets and the amount of such jobs multiplies by an order or two of magnitude.

Also, I more so just meant it in the arts and coping way. About half of the planet genuinely just can't make a good movie. Not just because of not having the budgets, but also not having the skills. There's a reason why even the "low-budget" and independent stuff only ever seems to be actually good when it comes out of the US or other rich countries. Countries that produce like 10-20 shitty movies per year don't have entire teams with multi-year and multi-project experiences for hire for every aspect of film production. There's only a couple of countries with really well functioning and prolific movie industries, and for the entire rest of the planet, their movies might as well be low-budget amateur works by definition.

It's similar with music and other visual arts, but the movies are really the best example. And into this world, we've just gotten technology thanks to which any random farmer in some shithole who would've had zero chance of ever seeing his ideas on the big screen in an actually watchable format with cool effects and good acting, can now just prompt it and create Hollywood-tier clips of what he wants to see, along with creating his own music when IRL he might be too poor to even own any good modern musical instruments, and so on. How so many people don't see what a Godsend technology this is is wild to me.
