So this boss is "AI" that will analyze and learn player's behavior like having a debate with chatgpt or forcing chatgpt to become your "sex waifu" or something lmao. Depends if the "ai" will actually exceute the most bullshit and effective move ever to the point where it becomes unfun and impossible to beat. I would only greatly accept if this game is turn based cuz holy shit you need a lot of time to think to defeat an godly iq enemy that knows your moves. Or if the ai is too cheaty it would make the player exploit stuff that will ruin the game's intended gameplay. Devs are fucking crazy for this. Also speedrunning would be absolute hell. This is only really great if the boss wouldn't learn even further or has limited abilities. Unpredictable and behavior changing bosses are actually really fun but knowing your moves and adapting it is a whole new level of unfun. Thoughts? Would this be next level gaming? Or massive failure?

A good idea, makes it more realistic. I mean irl a monster wouldn't fall for the same again and again

Isn't this the equivalent of playing most games on the hardest difficulty? Best example I can think of is fighting games like Mortal Kombat or UFC. They either already know what you're going to do or it's set to memorise your tactics and act accordingly on a reactive speed basis? All I can think is you would literally have to learn it's moves unless it's making up moves on the fly in which case that's fucked up. It literally has knowledge that you don't? Seems like madness lmao.

I think most in fighting games i've played on the hardest difficulty will just break your guard and combo you to the death. They're also cracked af and will execute as fast as a human can react, Mugen hardest AI mods for an example. This as stated will literally learn the player's behavior and adapt to it. So like it might be either cheating that will force the players to exploit different meta plays in which is either tedious and stress inducing. But idk how it would end up yet.
