Life on earth is a trial. And the eternal destiny of your soul is at stake. If you succeed, you will be allowed to enter Paradise where you will enjoy neverending peace. But if you fail, you will be cast into Hell where you will be tormented forever and ever. And most people are going to Hell upon death.
Many of you are living miserable lives. And that is not the worse that could happen to you, because you still have eyes to see and a nose to breathe, you have all your extremities, you can drink water and eat food, and go out for a walk to enjoy a day of nice weather. But in Hell, there is none of that. Hell is a place of neverending torment, where there is no water to quench your thirst, nor food to calm your hunger. Hell is a place where maggots devour your flesh whilst you are wide awake, and the scorching heat goes on night after night.
So even after living your miserable life, there is a chance it could get worse upon your death, way worse, without any end in sight, for the torment in Hell is eternal. But whilst you are still alive, you have an opportunity to be freed from your misery and avoid the dreadful end that awaits most people upon death. However, it is not going to be easy, and you may have to go through even more ridicule than the one you have already gone through. But the eternal destiny of your soul depends on it.
So heed these words today so that you can flee from the wrath to come and reach eternal peace in Paradise! Seek Jesus now while He can be found. But it is not enough to believe in Jesus, you have to obey Him as well. God is Holy and He does not approve of sin. So if you carry on in your sins, you will receive the penalty for sins. But if you straighten your way, and stay on the narrow road, you will be rewarded with eternal peace in Paradise.
