I have a few recommended services for you.
First is a VPN, now there are multiple but from my own personal experience the ones I recommend are:
Proton
if you aren't willing or able to spend money you can use this which only requires an email address to sign up, however.
1. Your speed is limited but shouldn't be too much of an issue if you aren't streaming ultra HD.
2. Server locations is random but most likely you'll connect to Amsterdam since it's geographically the closest but you may also connect to Romania, US or Japan if the servers are full.
3. only one device per account but you can use different email addresses to make an account for each device.
Mullvad
mullvad.net
By far this one of the best, most private VPN services, and one of the cheapest costing €5 or £4.34 (may vary) but around £4 a month.
You don't need an email or anything as you are just given an account number that's randomly generated for you but if you lose it, yeah ur kinda fucked. There are a few things of note:
1. You can pay via cash, vouchers or crypto and you get a 10% discount with crypto payments.
2. they have a few other features like Quantum resistant tunnels, multihop and their own DAITA tunnel, a way to prevent traffic analysis.
3. You get 5 devices per account, each device is just given a wireguard key and a two letter name.
Second, there is Tor.
www.torproject.org
Tor is a network run by volunteer relays, your location is dependent on where the Exit node is in the circuit. Tor is slower than the other two options especially if you use bridges than a direct connection. A few other things include:
1. Many sites block Tor cause exit nodes are often used to either DDOS or vypass account bans.
2. You'll often face a lot of Captchas or Rate limits cause people DDOS via exit nodes, especially if a site has Cloudflare blocking enabled.
3. There's a more latency than just using a plain VPN cause of the three hop onion routing protocol.
