This used to be the behaviour of people in their early teens. Now it’s full grown adults who do this shit, I have no idea how anyone can do this and then go into work and act like a serious person, I am genuinely embarrassed to be a part of this generation.

I think this trend started with celebrities who were handed everything in life from such a young age that they were never forced to grow up and because of the culture of worship around them all the plebs just followed suit, now we have a society of pathetic wannabe Peter Pans larping as children.

The infantilisation is real. My peers thought that me going to China alone for a few months when I was a teen was Child abuse on behalf of my perents but it was among the best time in my life. I also fished and did the fish from sea to mouth including killing them which has traditionally been a rite of passage for adolesents of my origin but which is now seen as too butal and child abuse when its good to be able to catch, kill and cook your own food. Children aren’t unaware of death; they are quite violent, especially when infantalised, and should be introduced to the real world at their liking instead of not doing adult stuff as soon as they are fit to.

Being a child is good and if it were possible we would never grow up, but we just grow up because we NEED to grow up and accept the responsabilities. That's why Women do not grow up because it's better to them to act like children.
There is a big difference between the necessity of growing up and the wish of being a child.
