Let's begin: (and before anything, I have played like 5 days to this shit)
1. Too big map. Seriously, it's a fucking huge map (and it doesn't help the fact that it has a lot of houses, tunnels and literal impenetrable terrain) and there are only 60 people. All my apex plays have been either getting killed at the beginning or surviving the beginning, then encountering literally no one to until quite the end (and when I encountered them it was a fight to death).
2. Sometimes, there are no guns/ammo at the beginning. It's random as fuck (and more so depending on where you drop because there are absolutely abhorrent places); you drop and you can be quite a time looking for guns and foremost, its ammo. This is no problem if you drop alone (at which point you will probably not fight shit until a long time) but if you drop along with other squad you can find yourself in a quite sticky situation very quickly.
3. Unless on long range, gunfights are chaotic as fuck. Now this is where you tell me "git gud" but fights are really fucking messy. I have found myself running like a madman guns blazing with no real aim praying to hit someone while the other team was doing the same, it really fucks up trying to skill up.
4. There is no "meta", at all. There is no strategy, grenades serve more of a pretty accesory rather than something useful, gun mods are pretty straightforward (and only the sighs and magazines are the ones who may change the game a little bit) and some abilities are useless when compared to others. There is no studying the game in deep, most of it revolves around "encounter enemy, shoot to kill" at that if you encounter it a reasonable distance because if not it's rambo mode enabled.
5. The game IS BORING. I have played some games alone (with other 2 random mates as the game forces you to play with other people) and it was BORING. As said before, distances are huge, the map feels empty as fuck and now you can't even talk to your mates so all you can do is try to follow them (or them to follow you) and pray to encounter an enemy. I could only bare the fact that the game was boring when playing with friends to which to talk to and even then it was boring; if I want to wait a lot and talk while I do it I might as well play a civilization v game with them.
There are probably more flaws that I am missing but these are the ones I found the most irritating. Fortnite is a bad game too, aimed at children which can be entertained with anything but I dare to say that it is way better than apex legends because at least in fortnite I was fighting more and there was more action while on here I just walk a big distance for then to either play rambo or get measly fight.
People are playing this piece of shit because other people are playing it, that's all the reason they need to; but the fucking game isn't good nor it is entertaining.
