There is a lot of people that think the same about DS3, but i can't get it, i completed the Souls trilogy and Elden ring at least 2 times each, and i still think it's the best
DS3 to me just feels very safe to me. Like it doesn't try anything new or innovative. Just very straightforward, linear, great boss roster etc. Like it's just made to appeal to as many people as possible. DS2 is huge in comparison with so much variety. This causes a lot of the areas and bosses to be dogshit, but also fashion and weapons etc. DS1 and Bloodborne are 2 of the best games ever made and I could go on for hours about those 2. And I don't give enough of a fuck about elden ring to really have a detailed opinion about it.
After playing Elden Ring, filled with copy pasted bosses and dungeons over and over and constantly needing to watch guides to know where the non copy pasted bosses were, i value DS3's linearity so much more. If Elden Ring deleted all that, maybe it would be my favorite.
I didn't care much about fashion and weapons of DS2, i just felt that it had a lot of boring bosses, very few were peak, like Smelter Demon, Fume Knight and Sir Alonne, and had some terrible runbacks. I value a lot that i didn't need to replay the entire game to refight these peak bosses thanks to Bonfire Ascetics ,unlike Elden Ring forced me to.
Sadly i won't play Bloodborne until it releases officially on PC, and it won't be soon sadly.
About DS1, i must say the classic thing, that the second half is pretty bad, and had some terrible runbacks, my most hated one, Bed of chaos and Zeath. I liked a lot the 4 Kings bossfight tho, one of my favs of DS1, they could make the runback shorter still. DLC was very linear yet is very loved for his bosses, and still, fans forget the "muh linearity bad" when talking about it.

with the xmc gun, Olympia, or peacekeeper as my main guns,

Is Hatred any good? The only things I hear about that game is that it's lazy, edgy, and over all people are more prone to laugh when they hear about it. I ask from genuine curiosity, is the game worth playing?

Probably my favorite campaign/story mode game, ever. I'll never forget this gem of gemmys.
It's a repetitive stick shooter. I played it for the edge years ago and I guess it wasn't super terrible of a game. Nothing I'd recommend, no.

I don't play Dying Light anymore but it was all I looked forward coming home when I was in middle school and is pretty much everything what a video game should be, fun as hell. Gameplay can range from mindless swinging to a whole plethora of character attacks but the otherwise not very good story still had child me moved.
