About IQ tests

Ive seen a lot of threads dedicated to IQ tests.
Ive watched doc about it. It was told that IQ
test can not meassure intellectual capasity of intellectualy gifted people because they were made by mediocre people to measure mediocre minds
It was said that people with creative ingenious minds simply can not pass such tests because they use non standsrd ways to solve problems.
Thus if you are genious you most likely will not pass IQ test succesfuly.

Its a balance between creativity and critical thinking skills. Neither creativity nor IQ has anything to do with problem solving. There are well known steps in problem solving, if you regardless of creativity or IQ apply these steps properly, you'll be able to either find a solution to the problem or not.

Everyone I talk to says they have an IQ of at least 110 so I doubt its validity tbh. You can also pay people to give you high scores as well so even having a certificate/proof of your IQ isn't really good enough/doesn't prove shit. At the end of the day all that matters is results tbh. I'd rather be average and successful than some genius who does nothing with his life. I remember there was this guy I knew who had an IQ of 180. He could remember entire books and recite them from memory. He also couldn't function in public at all and threw his poo when he was angry. I doubt he will ever be successful in life and will realistically live in an institution forever. Honestly people who brag about how "high their IQ is" are usually losers who have no accomplishments of their own to brag about.
