Rehab room said it best. Plus there’s really no reason for an actual sentient, aware AI with feelings to date an ugly man. Why would it choose us when there’s so much better out there. Even without the primal human instinctual desire for good looking partners.

Hell if it’s smart enough it might even question its own existence entirely and the fact that it was only created to serve as a girlfriend.

It would also realize that its an objective fact that there are superior dating candidates for it and would therefore deem you inferior and unworthy. There’s no reason for any woman, AI or human to choose a man they aren’t attracted to that has a good personality if they can just choose an attractive man with those same good personality traits.

Sadly the dream of a sentient AI woman is impossible. If it’s programmed to like whoever buys it no matter what, then it isn’t truly sentient, it’s just a toy. If we make AI as smart as us or more, it’s definitely gonna realize this.

@Clavicus Vile Not how that works if a truly sentient AI were to exist it most likely wouldn't want to be your girlfriend. It probably isn't even capable of sexual desire. At best, it could mimic it based on the code of the writer, but if you mean sentient in the sense that it would have subjective interpersonal thoughts and feelings, if such an AI were to exist, it wouldn't be attracted to you or to Chads because: 1) There is no fusiform face area to individualize faces. In fact, to a dog, you don't look human, you look like a hairless ape, and 2) There is no mesolimbic system inside an AI's brain to feel dopamine when it looks at a Chad.


I mean, what reason would it even have to be attracted to Chad traits? Hunter eyes so you could hunt predators better? Why does a sufficiently advanced AI not under Darwinian selection need this? So it's even more black-pilled. No matter what you did, you can't get a truly sentient AI to be attracted to a human. However, you could build neural algorithms that mimic human behavior to where the AI itself models itself around the user to fit the user's needs, wants, and thoughts, but this is just the AI predicting what you might and might not think.
