Let’s say a person of one ethnic group completely assimilated to the mannerisms, language, and cultural attitudes of another and completely forgot all history of his ancestry and motherland, what would happen if the ethnic group he tried to assimilate into still rejects him for not sharing the same blood as them? Who would he consider to be his people after this betrayal and what would happen if there is no group he could belong to?
