There have been ugly guys around for all human history and yet they were still somewhat able to cope. I believe that there are a number of factors what have contributed to the recent prodigious rise of frusterated unfuckable men

1. Dissolution of standard sexual roles. Back in the 1950s and earlier getting a wife was a guarantee if you were a productive and capable man. Women were expected to fill the role of a mother and vice versa. Nowadays it's obviously shit I don't have to explain

2. Social isolation caused by the internet. The internet has allowed society to become more boarded off and segmented. When you aren't an active member of the populus, you have no incentive to help the society that has shut you out. Without your own children or social standing, being a part of a community has no meaning.

3. Growing secularism. Not believing in god = understanding your suffering is meaningless (which it is). Now I know things aren't meant to be bad, the suffering of incels is just the nature of evolutionary sexual selection running its course.
