My social life is not as good as you’re imagining in your head. Currently, in the city I’m living in, I have one friend who I’ve hanged out with once. I don’t go out or spend time with people on days where I don’t work.

I do want to make friends though. I wish I had people who would randomly facetime me to ask how my day is, or wonder what I’m doing after work. Inviting me to parties, social events, their apartment.

I think the root cause of a lot of my issues is simply the desire to be loved/cared about.
