A while back I asked this girl what grade she’s in and she said she’s a junior. I told her what grade I’m in(junior). Keep in mind, I think she MAY like me, but I’m not sure. The reason I think it’s because she went of our way to walk in front of me one time, and other way when I was trying to walk by her, she kept walking the same pace as me. I was speed walking. Then I found two weeks ago she’s s junior. Why do u think she lied?

I misinterpreted what you said, in this situation it's evident that she was trying to get close and relate to you in some way. I can't say I have experience with this happening to me, but from previous observations and the blisteringly obvious it can be concluded that she shows interest in you to some degree.
If she said she was a sophomore she may have thought that proclaiming she's younger than you would put you off, the key decision here is if you want to approach and talk to her about this. However, be aware this is not a certainty with females as their emotions are rather chaotic in nature and display misinterpreted messages.
If placed in the situation I personally would not have the balls to do it, you however have the chance to ascend.
