What did the Volvo driver in front do wrong here? He had to change lane since the road would become more narrow. He had no choice in this situation.

Couldn't do much tbh, cant let middle that finger slide

the truck driver should have slowed down to let him through, typical whitey activities

i got a driving license a few weeks ago

1st time he changed lanes, it was too late, if you do it like that on your test good luck, should have done it earlier yk

but idk why the truck changed lanes? weird

Are you saying the volvo driver infront should have overtake earlier? He was clearly overtaking from the right to the left.

Later on in the video, the truck got behind him and he hit the brakes unnecessary. Bad idea to play games like that with a semi truck. Cars can stop fast. Semi trucks weighing 80,000 pounds can’t stop quick.

Maybe the volvo driver should have stayed in the left lane all the time? and not overtaken from the right, where the road became more narrow?

yh i mean in real life this is oke ig, i would be scared to do this lol especially since its a truck, he also got a little close to the car infront.

also he was lucky there was no car on the most left lane.

but outside of an exam this would be oke i geuss

Yea i know, but i'm more curious to know what he did wrong in the very beginning of the video. Maybe he should have stayed in the left lane all the time instead.

wait so he was behind the truck, went to right lane to over take and got back to left?

I have no idea where he was before the video started, so i can't tell. Maybe he was behind the truck or maybe he was on the right lane where it became more narrow.

in your country, what lane are you supossed to be if you are not overtaking?

He shouldn’t have tried to pass on the right, especially when there was so little room. He could have got behind the semi instead of trying to rush ahead. Generally, you only overtake someone in the left lane on multi lane highways like this.

The left lane is the passing lane, and right lane is usually a normal driving lane. In this vid, that other lane on the far right that ended appeared to be a highway entrance lane

He merged too close to the truck. Yeah he had no choice but it was pretty much a cutoff.

Then the car brake checks the truck which is stupid because not only the truck can't stop quicker than a car but if they would've hit it would be the cars fault due to stopping for no reason. The dashcam would've saved the trucker

It depends on the speed limit. If it's a 70km/h road you can stay in whatever lane you want i think, but if it's a 80-110km/h road you have to stay in the right lane. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

And what he did in the vid later on was worse. He slammed the brakes when the truck was behind him, almost causing the truck to rear-end him since trucks can’t stop fast

If the car was in a merge lane they should've yielded until it was safe.

Ok thanks for clearing things up.

No problem. I don’t even spend much time on highways like this myself, but I know generally the rules. Highways like this with lots of merging is just nerve racking. I like driving on 2 way highways with only 2 lanes, one lane in each direction. On highways like I mentioned, you can just turn onto it like a regular road and then turn off when you need without merging. It’s just simpler and a more enjoyable drive.

I will probably drive on a 3-lane highway tomorrow for the first time in my life so that's why i'm watching alot of these videos to get prepared. There's also some merging on those roads.

Why? Do you have to take a driving test in such a difficult first place? And how long have you been driving with a permit so far? I took my driving test on some back roads that were only 2 lane roads like I mentioned and it was easy. The only harder part was parallel parking

It's not a test. It's just a practice driving session with my dad, i don't have a license. He insists that i can handle a 3-lane highway. I've driven on a lot of 2-lane country roads but never 3-lane highways. I'm a little nervous but at the same time i want to try it.

Ok. Be careful. And remember to check your blind spots before changing lanes

oh then i asume he probably merged onto the highway, most of the time if there is a merge lane on the right side, that is the case

highway merging is mostly just having luck its not so busy so you can merge or that someone will let your merge

if you cant merge, idk what you can do lol

He got in the mid lane and then brake the car and he had a truck up his ass who also had to brake. You just dont do this type of shit unless you want an accident.

Nigger this isnt how it works retard.
