Smoking outside my window, ciggie looking like a stem
Seeing couples outside, I always wanted to be like them

I took too many pills now im laying fucked up in bed
I'm telling myself everything will be allright, I got my own back
But at the same time I'll realize i will never be chad

Loneliness and sadness
Desperation and madness

Realizing I will die miserable and alone
Not able to continue my bloodline, my last name will be unknown
Not even a burial or gravestone,
Chad will have a throne

Too many rejections, too much cope
These days I'm afraid It will end with a chair and a rope

The best resolution may be to adopt George Carlin's perspective, and just be a disconnected spectator. Of course he did have a daughter, so he's not exactly like our situation; but it did free him of the despair or disgust of seeing what others had done with society.

The world could burn tomorrow; I won't be the one to start it, but I'll probably just grab a soda and some marshmallows.
