Recently, I've been looking at conflicts between countries from a different perspective, and while I used to focus on race and religion, I'm now considering the issue from a matriarchal/patriarchal standpoint.
There is a global matriarchal fist (the United States, Russia, China, and the European Union), and there are countries that have to navigate between them, but each of these four players unconditionally defends women's rights.
