A lot of young outcast men have coped with politics the last few years. They've convinced themselves that as soon as Trump wins their lives will massively improve.

What they're going to soon realize is no one gives a shit about them no matter who is in power. I guarantee Trump is going to pander more to women than anyone else. He already has during his rallies where he insulted men who didn't vote as being fat slobs while ignoring it's only because men that he's in office.

We can hope he gets rid of dei at most which would be a win but don't get your hopes up. Just be thankful we have free speech for now

I remember 2015/2016, we had high hopes for Trump's presidency. I didn't see it as a panacea as many did but a strong step in the right direction certainly. It turns out that Trump was basically Obama in whiteface.

People started saying "there is no political solution" a lot around 2017/2018. You can't vote your way out of most of these problems. In fact, thinking that electoral politics (little more than tribalistic entertainment for the masses) can solve them reduces your agency and keeps you in stasis or regressing.

Don't look to narcissistic "reality TV" show hosts. It's a sound general rule that the only person who can solve your problems is you.​

To achieve this, they often manipulate the public, making them believe that the politicians can help them. While I don't closely follow American politics, I believe this observation holds true for the majority of politicians.
