A girl held the door open for me today.

I was walking into the library, and at the same time as I was walking in, a beautiful girl that I’ve been attracted to for awhile now was walking out. We made eye contact, but she quickly looked by me in disgust from looking at my face. As I walked in the door, I said “tthanks”. She said nothing back and kept walking. For just a split second, I thought I had a chance. As soon as I was in the library, I looked back and saw that she was already on her phone (most likely texting chad). Even though I know I don’t have a chance, it felt nice to think that a girl actually cared about me for once.

After we made eye contact, she made a weird face then reached for the door handle to hold open the door. She didnt even say anything, she just looked down the entire time as if it was an inconvenience to hold the door open for me. I can guarantee you that if chad were the one walking through the door, she would be looking at him the entire time.

these are educated ladies. they're so afraid of you that they carefully avoid insulting you in anyway. as long as you keep a distance from them, they won't trouble you. i used to see them as if they didn't exist and they're happy with that.
on the other hand, try eating on the same table with them or standing in a queue next to them and see their reaction.
