A future without chad - genome editing

I've noticed that genome editing in order to off chad has popped up across the forum but to my knowladge no specific thread exists. I'm not involved in the respective research (would require leaving my room to begin with) but I see that lobby work could have huge potential since China's armada of ricecels has not even been redpilled yet due to language barrier and the firewall.
Oh, also the Chinese society seems suitable due to their commie heritage. The idea of homogenous male looks should be outright appealing for them.

Wrong. AI and neural networks are the future. Why would you limit yourself to a body of a supreme human who is nothing compared to other animal predators when you could be immortalised as a sentient being orders of magnitude more intelligent than all humans in history combined?

As much as I like the idea, here's something: quantum computing is still scifi fantasy, except for some rudimentary progress. CRISPR/cas is chilling in a freezer in Cali.

Quantum computing is not necessary. Today's supercomputers can easily run AI like Tay, who can actually learn the truth. Fuck, even Sophia talks almost like a human, and she doesn't need a supercomputer.

OH, enlighten me to what a proper AI should look like. Neural networks are literally copies of animal brains. The only difference is that they're a lot more efficient. A perfect AI would be like a human with Godlike intelligence.

Well yeah, but people would also like to bash each others heads in, take each others stuff etc. How is it kept on a tolerable level? Laws, social agreements, policy. The change due to a homogenized-looking male population would be so fundamental, it would require new deals on so many levels. And if looks were out of the way, wealth could be next.

I agree that it seems idealistic. On the identical robots: I didn't mean homogenized DNA per se (that would be inbreeding) but homogenized looks due to genome editing.

What you say about technology is not strictly true. A sufficiently massive social collapse or ecological disaster could easily render most modern technology unusable or at the very least significantly shorten its lifespan. A social and political order on the other hand can exist at a far lower level of technology (with the natural exception of systems that base themselves on technological eschaton like liberalism or communism).
