On the internet it says that according to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the Finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation as they are "their true love". The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. Btw I got this all from wiki.

So yeah a foid asked me over chat if she believes in this kind of thing. I of course answered no. It's surprising that she knows about things like this. I thought foids only care about hot guys and shit. But then again, maybe she just wanted to rant about how she wanted a hot guy to be her fate, while making me her rant tampon, in which she almost succeeded. But still, this belief is delusional and mythical
