$100+. if you look used you could get a good guitar under 2/300$ to start on. If you go though acoustic route would probably be better since you won’t need amp and cables.

I started on a 79$ squier strat and a 30$ amp. If ur poorcel you can get things for very cheap. THe guitar is completely fine, but my amp is really shit. If you have the money, I'd suggest a more expensive amp and a basic guitar.
