As selecting the option "kate's right, let's go" you end up having to admit to your brother david that you betrayed him and tried to run off with his own wife in the trial.
Xqc is braindead and the concept of brotherhood is something that cannot be fathomed inside of his head.

From the viewpoint on "Does max necessarily deserve death" I wouldn't agree.
Max didn't want to kill anyone unlike badger, Max was just following orders.
Even after you killed several friends of Max he still reasoned with you at the gate.
He admits he never wanted to kill you or have things go the way it did.
It was badger who killed mariana not Max, so why shoot Max?
I don't think I can bare to view this horrific playthrough anymore for the reason that with more and more progress of the game comes more and more annoying choices that greatly impact the dialogue in a rather negative way
