A Description of Hindu Eternal Hell

  • Thread starter universallyabhorres

I never even knew Hindus had hell

Such levels of fear mongering man, i fucking hate this world.

It's the truth the gods, goddesses and religious figures have shown and told me.
Insane

In the hindu hell you take a bath everyday

I am 100% sure, it's real and I am going there after I die.
There is no crime in the world worth eternal torture. An infinite punishment for a temporary life is morally and unethically wrong.

The problem is this is based on a soul's evil nature rather than just the actions, the actions are based on the nature.

Nibber your soul was created by god, so if anything you are being judged by what he gave you.

Personality traits are fixed. Just like looks.

It's a product of your environment and circumstances, which are out of your control.

You don't know why you like the things you do, and that is because you were predestined to like those things.

Take for example your favorite foods or video games, can you explain why you like those things? It's merely what you were programmed to like.

According to Dvaita Hinduism, your soul was not created by god and has always existed, but it's dependent on god to do things.

If it's always existed then why is it dependent on god? And why does god have the right to decide your fate if he did not create you?

This thread is about hinduism, not christianity

Those are good questions that I wonder about as well. According to the text, it's how the soul is and has been eternally. God has the right to decide your fate since he created the universe apparently and we are living in his creation, but the question becomes why can't we live outside of his creation and choose to be independent from him. It is said his creation is infinite, so nothing has not been created by him, except the infinite souls.

All religions are based off of one another. They all share similar characteristics. I'm merely examining them from a logical stand point.

None of it makes sense, and if it did then god is unjust and evil.

Punishment for the sake of cruelty does not have any merit.

Souls being tortured for things that God willing allows is fear mongering.

What is there willingly so bad that is punishable by eternal torture? You would have to be responsible for the torture of souls infinity, which is something that God does.

See you tomorrow...

In hell

How do we know all of this though? It's all just hearsay from human to human. There is no definitive answer to anything.

God just remains quiet and allows all of this to happen knowing souls will potentially suffer forever?

In the christian Bible we are supposed to be his children, and even Jesus himself suffered on the cross. His literal son.

God should be judged for the suffering he has given to billions of souls.

Not us for having to endure it.

Everything's gonna be okay brocel

When we go we go together. Everyone dies, but we all face the unknown eventually. We can't live in fear.

This doesn't help me, I have received divine revelation. The religion makes sense logically and that's what bothers me.

It's gonna be hell for me literally. I am not living in fear but I am quite unhappy.

How does it make sense to you logically?
Most religions claim god created your soul but it that was the case why would he make some of them evil or cause them to suffer. They also claim that god loves every soul but if that was the case why would some souls go to hell eternally and others get eternal heaven. By introducing the fact that souls are not created by god, but dependent on them, it ensures they are all regarded equally and punished based on their sins, he does not create some souls to be good or evil. The idea that souls have different natures explains the different types of lives that living things have, including their level of suffering, it also makes sense for them to be sent to eternal hell because they are evil souls and to keep other souls safe from them. This also explains why evil is allowed so they can accumulate enough sins and end up in eternal hell. This also shows how god gives this freedom to act in human lives, which is partial free-will, but god is the one actually doing the actions based on the desires of the soul, which is why god is omniscient and knows what will happen. Every soul is allowed many lives before being sorted to their ultimate destination, except for neutral souls who are eternally reincarnated. Also, evil and good are shown as a spectrum with only a few souls being pure evil and a few being pure good and most souls being neutral and eternally reincarnated never achieving eternal bliss and heaven. Also, god is indifferent to most souls and doesn't love them. I feel this is very practical and explains a lot of problems in religious philosophies. Do you see any issues?

The black pill debunks every statement you just made though.

You claim that God is indifferent to humanity, and yet he gives some people better genetics, which results in a better quality of life.

He also puts souls in unpredictable environments out of people's control.

Some people live in third world shit holes without food, while others are born into wealth in a safe and plentiful environment.

Why separate the souls in the after life when we're all already put together in this one area? Wouldn't souls become corrupted by other souls? Thus eliminating the effectiveness of separating them in the first place?

And the whole idea of this being some sort of test goes out the window.

How can you test someone when none of us are on equal footing?

Even down to our own intelligence we are limited by the problem of knowing nothing at all.

This is due to both their soul nature and their actions in previous lives which leads them to being given better or worse genetics.
He also puts souls in unpredictable environments out of people's control.
Again, this is a result of Karma. He puts good and evil souls in many different situations before sending them to their final destination.

In the after-life the goal is to judge the soul's actions and punish or reward them. Then they either get another reincarnation or they are sent to their final destinations, eternal hell or heaven. The idea in life is to allow each soul to show their true nature through their actions in all sorts of different situations.
And the whole idea of this being some sort of test goes out the window.

The reason the souls are not on equal footing is because they are not equal in the first place. Souls are punished for their negative qualities and rewarded for their positive qualities. Their actions are generally a reflection of their qualities but not always. For example, I am forcing myself to do good deeds despite my evil nature, because I want to live a long and healthy before dying and going to hell.

So if their previous actions led them to where they are how come their current state is still filled with debauchery and illness?

A soul gets reincarnated into a chad from being good in a previous life, but when he's in Chad's he is obviously not gonna be that way because he has all the opportunities to do the opposite. So how was he ever good in the first place?

Brother you need to listen to me, you are making no sense.

You have what is called Stockholm syndrome, where you believe that you are responsible for your state when all of it was placed on you from an outside perspective.

He presupposes that the souls inherent nature determines their quality of life. I don't know anything about Hinduism, but I've heard that when it comes to reincarnation at least in some other religions, the quality of life is dependent on the souls behavior in a previous life. So if you're an evil soul, you do evil things in a life, and then you experience evil things in life. It could be that neutral souls do neutral deeds, and are reincarnated into more neutral lives. If God didn't create those souls, he is simply placing them in the life that they deserve based on the souls inherent nature.

My problem with religion isn't that the beliefs aren't plausible, they are if you do enough mental gymnastics. The problem is that religions are based off of lack of evidence. Most of them work because they are unfalsifiable beliefs, meaning that they can't be disproven. You can't disprove that Allah in Islam for example doesn't exist. You also can't disprove that the reason you can't believe in Allah is because deep down you actually do believe in Allah and refuse to do so. You also can't disprove that the Qur'an is unreasonable either, because it could just be that deep down you understand that it's reasonable but refuse to accept it, and are deliberately disobeying Allah. You can't disprove the existence of an evil soul that refuses to except something, because you would have to be able to observe a soul, which you can't, because it's metaphysical. These are the types of arguments Muslims make. You can't disprove that God isn't running everything in the background because you would have to be omniscient, which nobody is.

You shouldn't take unfalsifiable, un-disprovable ideas seriously, because there are an infinite number of unfalsifiable beliefs that although may sound plausible, are unreasonable to engage in. It's possible that tomorrow the sun could just randomly blow for some supernatural reason. But that doesn't mean you should act like that's the case, just because you couldn't disprove it until tomorrow finishes. `That's what the after life is. It's the idea that when you die you will go to hell for whatever reason. But you can't disprove hell, until you're dead. It's unfalsifiable, and it's ridiculous to take it seriously unless there is actual evidence that proves it's existence. What's to stop people from believing that there IS an afterlife and it exists specifically for people that believe in it? You wouldn't be able to disprove it, so does that make it true?

Exactly :feelsthink::yes:

There can be no way of knowing. This is why it's unfair from the start.

That's the thing, it depends on the soul, some souls will do a lot of good as Chad. But I think generally souls who get good looks or wealth are not exactly good souls, and more likely to be neutral or mediocre. Good souls generally have less worldly attachment and more spiritual, in fact there is the statement that generally good souls are poorer and have a strong religious interest. Also, this is considered the era of wickedness or Kali Yuga, so that is why it is filled with debauchery and illness, most people are living sinful lives, but that's mainly due to being influenced by evil, both less influence from the gods and more influence from the demon who the era is named after. He is considered the most wicked soul in existence.

Religion is assembled from a large combination of superstitions and spiritual beliefs. A lot of religions like, Islam, were simply ideological tools used to control populations, that were based off of the pagan ideas of the time, as well as the influence of christianity and judaism. Prophet Muhammad for example was a warlord that used his forged status as a prophet of the true version of christianity and judaism, to try to control arabia. I'm not a religoius expert so I might be wrong, but that's what I'm going with right now. Remember what I said about unfalsifiable beliefs? There were tons of "failed" religions that didn't live long enough or weren't integrated into a more successful religion.

Hinduism is shit.

@SuperKanga.Belgrade Thoughts on my previous reply?

I definitely agree that most good souls aren't reliant on materialistic things. It's just a shame that those at a disadvantage have less of an opportunity then others.

It's hard to blame anyone for degeneracy nowadays. The World just feels so empty, that the only way they can cope is by using degeneracy as a drug to abuse.

I'll never forgive god sadly. I feel like I have been abandoned, and now I have to survive on my own.

Dealing with abuse all my life, and there is nothing I get out of it but more hard work for nothing.

Some people win at life, I will never feel satisfied. Something in my heart. All the suffering I've seen.

Either it gets better for everyone, or I have no place in it.

I am just wondering are you disagreeing with the claims made by the religious text? You just started talking about your life and how you feel, which is relatable but still, I am convinced that Hindu eternal hell is real.

Christian version of hell is worse.
How? As far as I have heard it's just burning in fire and being bitten by worms.

I am not a religious man. Far from it really. I don't really agree on most religious practices.

I believe in gnosticism, and that we are on a prison planet being harvested for our energy.

But would you agree that religion makes more sense than Christianity? I understand, I used to be aetheist like you. I wish I could free myself of my religious beliefs and knowledge along with enjoy life more. I wish to live a long and healthy life, regardless of my situation.

I'm not an atheist, I believe that the god of this realm is real, however I believe that he is evil.

Gnostics refer to him as yaldabaoth.

He is responsible for creating the material realm.

Religion as a whole can be good for people, but it's also led to blood shed and horrible deeds.

I have no problem with people finding something positive in it though.
