I tried to convince myself that I didn't truly want a gf and my desires were based on social expectations/egoism. It worked but briefly. Reason was that everytime I saw an attractive femoid I had to remind myself of my cause similar to how MGTOW do in their subreddit. If you have to actively remind yourself of it then you know it's cope.

Sometimes, I would be caught off guard seeing a happy couple and I would feel emptiness on the inside. At the point, I knew it was all cope.

you NEED social circles to ATTRACT a girl and to KEEP ltr alive. simple as that. even if you score a chick, it becomes dull and boring just hanging out together, if you have no friends and no life action you are fucked.

yeah, i didnt mention in the comment above that its essential for average 4-7 guys. and yeah, looks alone are enough to attract her. yeah, it will work sorta fwb way, but in real rs u cant operate without social circles.
