So, around two decades ago, when the internet was still relatively a new thing, an anonymous internet satirist rose to prominence: Maddox.

His humor was outrageous for its time, on point, politically incorrect, and funny + manly as fuck.

His website blew up, and millions upon millions of unique visitors flooded his website, rivaling that of the biggest websites and corporations. He got a book deal with Penguin and was set to become the next big thing in comedy ..........

until it was revealed how he looks like.

See, during maddox's rise, he used a very strategically chosen photo of his younger self, which had a head full of hair, looking healthy, and more or less looking the part of a cool normie-tier dude.

When he started making videos and appearing in cons, this is what he actually looked like :

Ugly and balding, and he doesn't even "look" funny.

He's now on the fringes on the internet, with dwindling traffic and a mere 20k followers on twitter, after being the rock star of internet comedy.

If this guy was a Chad or Chadlite, he would have killed it as a comedian. Alas, his bone structure pretty much murdered his career.
