An two bedroom Apartment in Germany was 60k€ on average in 2008, nowadays its 270k€. Housing prices increased 450% in 16 years.
If we assume this is a linear growth - especially because global population also grows till 2085 such an apartment in 2040 will cost around 1200000€ - which is honestly something I can see happening especially with the insane increase in price of Gold, Silver and high level crypto like Bitcoin.
Its already impossible to own shit now except you make 6 figures, but in 2040 and you start out with nothing and wages still are just around 20€/h, its kind of over. At the end of it, all you will really own is a Smartphone, your VR/AR Glasses and Ikea Funiture.
Welcome to the future - Robowaifus only for the rich!
