This is so stupid. But I could watch this shit for hours. Fuck wasps, fuck hornets.

It's not stupid if it works

It's illegal to remove them yourself here or even to kill them for that matter. Germany is so cucked.

I killed a hornets' nest once by pouring paint remover all over it and lighting it on fire

That was way more efficient than I thought it would be, I'll give him that

You get fined like 10K € if they catch you killing wasps. Muh essential pollinators and shit like that.
Wasps aren't even good pollinators, that's honeybees

Well they aren't good pollinators from an anthropocentric perspective, but they do pollinate certain wild flowers to a greater degree than bees. The rationale behind this law is sound, however how you go from that to the conclusion of not being legally allowed to kill them is another thing entirely.

Yep. Crazy shit. Does you country also ban cars that pollute a lot?

first world country tries to protect its civilian from harming themself the underlying reason is the person might harm himself and then he wont be able to go to work or buy things which will negatively effect the economy.

That is correct generally correct, however in this instance it is pure climate-faggotry. The "professionals" who remove said hornet nests are just normal blokes that put said hornet nests in the forest so that they can "resettle in their natural habitat". That's really all there is to it, it isn't about safety just about ecology to the extreme.

Couldn't tell you. Some older models need a special permit but that's theoretically true everywhere in the EU, I do not think that there is anything in the german legislation that specifically bans old polluting cars. But that's why the faggy EU regulation steps in.
