For a ricecel, it must be even worse. They have a different work culture. When I applied to work on a chinese owned café, the chinese manager was dumbfounded when I told him about my little work experience (that I also had greatly exaggerated: at 23 I still never had a real job, I only worked occasionally like twice a month as a waiter, but I don't say that in job interviews obviously and I pretend that I worked full time).
