Movie was alright

first 20 mins was intense and good but the other stuff is okay it shifted more into this other side quest

5/10

I'll catch the last late night show sometime next week at the theatres

I grew up watching the first one in the early-mid 2000s.

Can't wait!

Nah, this guy is chopped. It's good, if you have even a cursory affinity to horror, you'll enjoy watching it. The photography is impressive, the direction is extremely solid and the plot is unpredictable.

It was alright but could've been a lot better imo

SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT SCROLL DOWN

1. No big plot twist. That really sucked
2. The doctor they met outside the settlement just chose to stay out there by himself for no good reason. He did not go back to the settlement. He told the little boy to go back on his own. The big plot twist should have occurred with the doctor attempting to rape the foid and eat the boy.

3. The boy met a band at the end of the movie. This band was not hostile and untrustworthy of others and just accepted the boy. In a realistic scenario he could have been viewed as someone that would slow them down. Or possibly a spy for another group. So I did not like the fact that the band just easily accepted the boy.

4. The doctor had the means to kill the giant zombie twice but didn't kill the giant zombie who was a major threat.

5. The boy and his mother didn't use logic and come to the conclusion that she had cancer. So leaving the settlement would be pointless but they left anyway.

6. They were safe and sound in the settlement and there was literally zero reason for the boy to leave and not come back.

7. There is no real story telling between the characters about whats going on in the bigger picture. How Britain is fairing compared to Europe or other parts of the world with regards to the virus. And other valuable news we want to know about regarding the larger story.

That all said, it was just barely good enough for me to want to watch it again one day. Although even with that, I wouldn't be in a rush at all whatsoever to see it again.

A really good movie is a movie that I would want to watch over and over again.

This isn't one of them. I'll watch it maybe once more or twice at most. So it's an "alright" movie.

A really bad movie is a movie that I would never wanna watch ever again.
