Everybody's Tennis (PSP) is the best tennis game of all time. In fact I replayed the entire game a few months ago for the 6th time on PPSSPP emulator.
 
I'm a tennis nerd so I've played all of them except the DS Rafa one.

Tennis Elbow is my favorite tennis game. Can mod it with ease, and play it however you like. Graphics are limited compared to AAA games, but whatever.
 
the only sports game I've played is madden and had no idea how the game works
 
Mario Power Tennis for the GBA is my favorite one, it was basically a tennis RPG. Mario characters only showed up at the end.
