also interesting is this 1933 footage of 14-year-old Marge Champion auditioning as Snow White's model. Something many don't know as Snow was voiced by the older Adriana Caselotti who was 17.

I think many people assumed the character to be older based on the red lips and rosey cheeks which made you think of a roastie dolled up in makeup, but these were supposed to be Snow's natural state of beauty - Snow is only meant to be seven, so the actress they chose is actually twice as old as she ought to be, probably because they couldn't find a skilled dancer that age able to cope with the hours Disney needed.

That's why we can see for example that Snow doesn't have the same bust size as Champion, her chest is flatter.
