Good point. MGTOW is a gateway philosophy for ex-bluepillers who realize that something's fundamentally broken with women, relationships and society, but aren't quite ready to fully ingest the blackpill yet.
I went down a similar path albeit not quite as early in life as the younger generation who have more blackpilled information available at their fingertips than I did growing up. I was bluepilled in the 1990s (middle school and high school), MGTOW throughout the 2000s (college and post-grad wageslaving), MRA/anti-feminist in the early-2010s (my late-20s), "wizard" in the mid-2010s (after turning 30 as a KHHV), incel/truecel/blackpilled in recent years (my late-30s where I have pretty much given up on everything), and hopefully digisexual in the 2020s (if sexbots, VR, and other technological advancements give unwanted trash like me something to look forward to before we grow old and die).
