I know what you mean. My dad gave me his old car from 2010 and I love it.
I bought all kinds of detailing products to keep it in good shape. I basically baby the thing even though it's nothing special, it's worth 10k euros tops. Unfortunately, I struggle with expressing gratitude, I just find it cringy for some reason. I can't bring myself to say 'thank you, dad I love it so much."
