I think on an individual level, having an hobby that creates value, such as being an artist, and all the other things mentioned is Admirable infact im doing that too. But you must be realistic, whilst im doing that too, the success rate is actually worse than going to a casino, You'd be better off 10X your money, than making a career in value creating hobbies.
