One of my top 10 films of all time 

At face value it's the story of evolution, but at its core I think it's a film about individuation and becoming the best version of yourself you can imagine

Also in terms of pure visual spectacle the last 20 minutes have yet to be superseded nearly 50 years later
 
A long and boring at times movie, but that doesn't mean it's bad. This is one of those movies where I sat down and was feeling that unique experience, especially towards the ending
