The white standard of beauty is brutal. Even in ethnic countries like Indian or those in Latin America, if you aren't light skinned enough usually you're done. The light skinned ones are automatically "higher class" and get to enjoy a privileged life. You could be talentless and still become famous, you could be Low IQ and still get a great job.
