For normal people the weekend is looked forward to, the time for social gatherings and events or doing interesting hobbies and enjoying oneself.
For years now my expectations from weekends has decreased year on year.
I have never really done social activities on the weekend but I used to count a successful weekend if I had gone on a hike in the peak District or Dales, or gone to the gym.
Now I count a weekend as productive if I have washed my clothes from the week before, gone food shopping and done some exercises in my room. Very basic shit that is barely above getting out of bed.
This is how stale my life is. I am nearly 30 now so life is only going downhill so there is not much hope for me.
I know most users here are a lot younger, what is a successful weekend in your lives?
