Yes, I've heard of this phenomenon before. It's almost the same effect as having a name closer to the end of the alphabet has on students as well. When you're more likely to be called last for any activity in school, there's a connotation that you're a last place loser which you internalize and lowers your self esteem.
And vice versa the inverse is true when your name is called up first more commonly which bolsters your sense of self worth since it gives you a continuous source of unconditional positive reinforcement for yourself.

well i don't agree with first one when it comes to school cuz you are more likely to be one first in line in school to be asked to answer the question/do the example by teacher
