Seems like operation 'Rising Lion' (Rising Jew) was all for nothing then, jfl.

It's not a discussion or rumor anymore, these talks (if not happened already) are happening behind the scenes.

Or operation night hammer, or dark hammer whatever the hell the spec ops of bombing those 3 nuclear facilities was called, carried out by Americans

RF supports the position of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons

I doubt it actually, it could act as a deterrent to work on those nuclear facilities behind the scenes. Time will tell, but then again, Benjamin in tel Aviv is by far the most unhinged man in that entire region, if not, the world. You'll never know what he's capable of.

It raises some nuanced questions. Do you see Russias support as rooted in genuine non proliferation concerns, or more as a strategic move to maintain regional balance? its ties with Tehran and tension with the West, how stable is that alignment really then you reckon? Curious where you think the red lines are in practice and not just in principle.

No iran and usa made a deal under the table.

"Hey khomeini move your nukes elsewhere and we will bomb your nuclear sites, then you bomb our embassy in qatar after we evacuate everyone from there"

This way trump can steal more tax money and send to israel and iran doesnt look weak infront of its people like it always does.

Its all a play.

Russia signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty so no. The DPRK or Pakistan can do it since they didn't sign it iirc. Iran can also just create nukes on its own, they have everything they need.

Iran is just a neutral country, not an ally, same with China.

Orchestrating something that complex like evacuations, embassy hits without a single credible leak in an environment flooded with surveillance and intelligence sharing?
And Irans domestic politics are a lot less unified than people assume.
Playing along just to 'not look weak' overlooks the political divisions within Iran where even the hint of cooperating with America could be explosive

Why noone died in the embassy strikes then?

Cause that’s exactly how a controlled retaliation works. Strikes on largely evacuated or symbolic targets aren’t uncommon because they send a message without crossing a line that would demand escalation.
2020 Iranian missile strikes on American bases in Iraq after Soleimani guy killing there were lots injured but no deaths. It was widely seen as Iran showing strength for domestic optics, while avoiding war. Same logic applies here. Plausible retaliation, controlled outcome.

Irans acting more strategic now:

Buying fighter jets to counter the ones sent from Israel

Possibly building their own nukes because they already have the blueprints

And building new missles
