Oh there have been plenty more examples where this exact scenario played out the exact same way.
> Faceless youtuber gets famous from content.
> Faceless youtuber gets a lot of female subscribers
> Faceless youtuber starts feeling himself so he does a face reveal
> Women who liked him are disappointed and call him ugly
> Internet starts clowning on him
Rehab room has a couple videos showing other examples. I know in OP's example it was leaked and not a proper "face reveal" but the rest still applies.
The crazy thing is this happens to guys who are decent looking. Dream is a good example. He's above average, I'd rate him a solid 6.5... he's just not a turbo pretty boy.
Thing is, when you have a lot of female followers and you make faceless content, they'll all imagine you looking a certain way (which will obviously be extremely good looking). There's also the issue that as a content creator with a large female audience, you're not going to be compared to the average guy, or even the average content creator, but the average male content creator who is popular with women. Guys like Sergi and other tik tok pretty boys. So if you don't meet the extremely high expectations, a face reveal only serves to ruin the fantasy.
Basically unless you're a young pretty boy don't ever do a face reveal. No matter how much of a "glow up" you think you had because you lost weight or did some "looksmaxxing" shit. Never ever do a face reveal and do everything in your power to hide your identity so it does not get leaked. Don't do meetups, don't show your pic to anyone who DMs you, don't tell people you know in real life that you make content online.
