For the record I don't believe Democratic policies are economically leftist at all. Democrat politicians are owned by the banks and want to tax poor people and give money to the banks. I believe only rich people should be taxed and the money given to poor people. You say "money doesn't grow on trees" but there is enough automation in the workforce that it might as well be growing on trees, without need for any workers. That money saved from automation eliminating jobs needs to be redistributed to people unable to find work, or else in a few decades you will live in a society where everything is atomated and there are no jobs or money for anyone except rich people that own the businesses.

1. Foreign policy: Reduce amount of US overseas bases and troops, but not totally draw back.  
2. Borders and immigration: 500-750k immigrants can legally enter a year. No wall, but additional border patrol and fencing. Militarize the southern border if need be.  
3. Trade: Free trade, end remaining quotes and tariffs. 
4. Taxes: Lower them anywhere possible. Reduce fees. 
5. Fiscal Policy: Reduce. Focus it on infrastructure, R&D, environmental protection. Try to make cuts everywhere and anywhere. 
6. Welfare: Much less. Possibly focus on more lump sum transfers thither than section 8 and food stamp programs. I would replace the minimum wage with wage subsidies. As much as I hate free contraceptives they are a good way of reducing single mothers households and low IQ people.
7. Guns: Fewer domestic laws. 
8. Regulations, permits, and licensing: Fewer in most areas. Some of the listing reduction would have to be done at the state level. 
9. Monetary Policy: No significant changes. Encourage reform in how inflation targeting and advocate a 0% inflation target.  
10. Civil Rights and affirmative action: End both.
11. Social policy: Let the states decide. Publicly government officials should vocal promote family values and be punished for ethical violations. i would outlaw abortion on the Federal level and consider a national porn ban. 
12. Drugs: End the drug war on so called "soft drugs" like marijuana. Allow the states to decriminalize them. I probably wouldn't legalize the hard stuff.
